The clear plastic is strong but not bulky or obnoxious. I love that it's see through and the elastic band around the back was a great element of the design. The fabric shoe protectors don't compare to something sturdy like this.

I bought these a couple weeks after getting my Chili sandals when I realized I was too nervous to use them without protectors. I was so happy when these fit perfectly, provide great coverage for the entire toebox and I was totally comfortable doing floorwork in my gorgeous sandals. Also, I'm happy to let my wide-fit gals know that this works great for the wide-fit sandals as well.

One was shaped funky and sticks out from the front of the toe box, leaving a gap. This could make some landings off or slippery, and it's obvious I have protectors on now. Otherwise they fit snug and protect my it's Britney slippers pretty well. They do smoosh the bottom of the feathery fur a bit, but that's just these shoes
