I like the m’ but they are small

These were my first heels ever ordered from Hella Heels. I'm an 8 to 8 1/2, I should have upsized to a size 9 so they fit kind of small, but it took a while to break into.
The gold kind of came off a tiny bit but I didn't put the shoe protectors on. These shoes are still very pretty.

These are very comfortable and fit well and do a great job of not letting my toes slip over the edge. However, because the sole is a more leathery material, my feet tend to slide around when they get sweaty which can be a little dangerous as it has made me fall a couple times. Additionally, the gold chips pretty easily so be prepared for that if you do a lot of floorwork.

They are so beautiful I don’t want to wear them. These are my first hella heels! I usually wear pleasers. I love the comfort of these shoes and they feel more lightweight. My only concern is with edge work! I think I have to trim the soles they tend to get sticky and won’t really glide. Overall they are gorgeous and comfortable to dance in all night.

To preface this, I purchased these for exotic heel work. I’ll start with the pros: the peep toe does prevent the toes from escaping which was my issue with Pleasers and the plastic is very soft and comfortable. However, with the softer plastic, I feel like you sacrifice some ankle stability. The biggest issue and why they didn’t work for me is the length of the toe box. The length of the toe box makes it really hard to dance on your pivot. Their counterpart in the same size and heel height in pleasers has a slightly higher heels with a shorter toe box making it much easier to get on the pivot. Anyways they’re absolutely gorgeous but not quite what I’m looking for.
