It stays in place, I will be getting more. Most I've used from other brands have slipped and been a pain. These work perfectly, and they protect my beautiful shoes from my stagework abuse.

Extremely frustrating to put on the boot. Once on appearance was largely unnoticeable, which met expectations, save for the bulky plastic folds of toe protection that I personally found to detract from the overall appearance of the boot.If you are using them to save your shoe while practicing, wonderful, but would not recommend if working the stage. That said, YMMV
