This is my first pair of Hella Heel boots and I absolutely love them! The boots fit great, my ankles feel stable and supported, and I like that there are eyeholes for the laces vs hooks. I wear a size 8.5 and bought 8s (based on trying on a friend’s pair) and have no discomfort in my feet. The boots have a nice texture and feel. I ended up buying another pair of boots in a different color and style because of how much I love these. Definitely recommend!

The material holds up pretty well and offers good ankle support. They don't grip the pole like patent but more than suede.
